The Universal AR SDK is a powerful tool for creating augmented reality experiences on Web and mobile platforms. It supports multiple tracking types, including face tracking, image tracking, and instant world tracking, and allows for simultaneous use of multiple tracking types in a single project. The SDK is available for iOS, Android, and WebGL build platforms, and supports In-Editor testing of Face and Image tracking types. To publish your project, you'll need to sign up for an active ZapWorks plan. The SDK also includes a set of command-line utilities and resources to help you get started.
Licensing: You'll need to register your app/website with Zapworks when publishing for iOS or Android, or self-hosting the WebGL build on your own domain. The library requires Android 6.0 (API version 23) or later and iOS 11 or later. For Android, adjust player settings to use OpenGLES 2.0 or 3.0, and for iOS, set 'Camera Usage Description' in player settings. WebGL templates are included for Unity game instance and full screen browser window. Use the ZapWorks command-line tool to serve your WebGL output folder over HTTPS for local access.
