Terrain Combiner for Unity

The Absolute Terrain Combiner is a tool that helps you create and customize multiple terrain grids while maintaining control over performance and optimization. It allows you to create a Heightmap and Terrain grid by blending elements from a Heightmap texture and a color texture as input.

The process involves three steps:

Step 1: Set up the terrain grid, input an initial heightmap, and the tool will create a grid of heightmap at the adequate size.

Step 2: Set up the terrain full size and the tool will build the terrain grid from your height map, apply your color texture, normal map texture, and use the material of your choice.

Step 3: Optimize your scene as desired with your own scripts to display the part of the terrain you wish and control performance.

A sample scene, 'Mars Gale Crater', is included to demonstrate the process, featuring a 16bits RAW heightmap, a PNG heightmap, a color texture, and a normal map texture.

The tool supports PNG and 16bits RAW heightmap formats, and allows for customization of terrain grid size, heightmap resolution, and material selection. It also includes a sample scene for demonstration purposes.
