The Projector Simulator is a Unity package that provides a projector device and lens asset to help you simulate projection in Unity. You can create custom devices and lenses, and place them in your scene to simulate real-world situations. Key features include:
- Project any texture you like (RenderTexture, Texture2D)
- Save projector data as an asset for repeated use
- Modify projector specs in the Editor, including throw ratio and lens shift
- Calculate projection size, illuminance, pixel size, and more
- Realistic light path and shadow simulation
- Assisted light path line and projection area visualization
To use this package, you'll need:
- Unity 2019.4 or newer
- High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP)
