VR Booster is a VR Development Framework built within the Unity Engine. It extends Unity's XR Interaction Toolkit, providing new tools, components, and player rigs to make VR game and experience development more cost-effective, frustration-free, and enjoyable. The framework is designed to help developers create high-fidelity VR experiences with ease.
VR Booster features a variety of Player Rigs, including simple room-scale interactions and intense movement mechanics such as running, jumping, climbing, swimming, and grappling hook-swinging. It also includes seamless scene transitions using additive scene loading techniques, a 'Lost and Found' system for respawning lost items, and a range of interactable objects for creating puzzle systems. The framework supports deployment to SteamVR and standalone Quest using OpenXR, without requiring changes to the code.
