File Dialog Explorer is a simple plugin that allows you to browse, edit, and control your computer's folders and files with user-friendly settings directly in the Unity Engine. It is compatible with any Unity version that supports the UI (uGUI) framework. The plugin features a customizable interface, a full and modular event system, and a custom extension manager. You can read any file of any format and stream specific data to certain components, such as reading image data, reading text data, and more. The dialog is specially built for Unity's UI (uGUI) framework with TMPro support.
FDE supports all platforms except WebGL. FDE requires Unity's UI (uGUI) and TMPro library. FDE is compatible with all rendering pipelines, however the example content is made in Built-in RP.
