The Darkline Spectres Bundle is a collection of 20 spectre meshes, including a head mesh, that can be used to create unique alien life forms. The bundle includes a powerful shader that allows for procedural generation of different looks, from thin lines to tangled, bold black tentacles. The shader has many settings, including noise movements, bulge waves, thickness, emission, and more. The bundle is designed to work with the Unity Render Pipeline (URP) and High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP).
The Darkline series Shader gives you options to set:
- Noise movements to make all lines alive!
- Bulge waves-light waves
- Thickness
- Emission
- Separated BC and Emission HUE
- Smoothness
- Metallness
- Normal
- Randomness option!
- Texture options like movement (gives crawling movement effect to lines) and scale
- Alpha options (HDRP version)
All shader features are sorted above and use 4 type-mixable masks by:
- Along lines
- By depth from surface
- Random per line (each line takes different values)
- Head to limbs
- Additional channels like thickness have 2 masks like limbs and hair-head.
This asset is a character, not a material pack. The shader is not independent and is specially configured to work with Darkline meshes. It may not work with other meshes if they do not have the same mesh features as Darkline assets.
