The Road GPS Navigator package is designed to help you navigate players on game roads, build routes, and find the nearest path without requiring any coding. It works seamlessly with Unity 2017-2023, with optimal performance in Unity 2019.4 or above. This package is ideal for creating GPS-like navigation systems in games, similar to those found in GTA, Far Cry, and other games.

The package supports two work modes:
- Full map: Displays the entire map with the player's actual position, route to the current target, and map icons for objects
- Navigator: A small window in the corner of the screen that imitates a real navigator, following the player and showing the nearest roads and route to move
The navigation system builds the shortest route from point A to point B, where A is the player's position and B is the final destination. It supports different road rules, including one- and two-side roads, road circles, and crossroads.
The package also features:
- Player rotation and position always shown on the map
- Destination position can be shown as a map icon
- Ability to set up objects on the level to be shown on the map
- Works on Unity UI
- Supports big level sizes and any amount of roads and crossroads
- Optimized algorithm for shortest route search, ensuring no lags in huge levels
Additionally, the package includes a visual editor extension to see actual road connections and directions, as well as an editor window to simplify work with map settings.
Note that this asset does not work with real maps and GPS, but rather allows you to create a GPS imitation for your game. The maximum tested map size is 6000 x 6000, and it has not been tested with VR.
