The Senses Pack is a collection of 7 plug-and-play sensory systems that enable your AI agents to perceive and respond to their environment. This pack includes tasks for detecting objects, surfaces, and trails, as well as determining visibility and line-of-sight. Each task is cleanly coded, fully documented, and built for easy integration with your custom logic. Whether you're building stealth mechanics, animal behavior, security systems, or complex enemy AI, this pack gives you the tools to make your agents feel alive and aware.
The Senses Pack is designed for both 2D and 3D Unity projects and uses a GameObject-based workflow. It leverages the Unity Job System and Burst Compiler for optimized performance and is fully modular and built to grow.
The Senses Pack includes 7 sensory systems:
- Distance: Detect proximity to objects
- Luminance: React to light intensity
- Sound: Hear footsteps, gunshots, or environmental cues
- Surface: Sense different materials like wood, metal, or grass
- Temperature: Detect temperature zones and daily/seasonal shifts
- Tracer (Smell): Track trails like scent, blood, or magical residue
- Visibility: Determine line-of-sight with smart vision logic
